OTB Solar Orders Crack-Detection Equipment From RUV Systems

OTB Solar - a provider of design, engineering, development and manufacturing of tailor-made inline solar cell production equipment - has placed an order with RUV Systems for Resonance Ultrasonic Vibrations (RUV) crack detection. The unit ordered, a RUV 2.2 QC Automatic, will provide both offline and an inline crack detection.

OTB Solar will use the offline, fully automated crack-detection device to analyze and demonstrate the performance of its production lines, with regard to crack initiation. RUV crack detection will also be integrated into the LINEX production lines, which have a capacity of 2,400 cells per hour.
